UPSHOT

Through intense and highly embodied physical dance, the dancers of the Relevant company question the individual's position in relation to the group. They explore the notions of exclusion, inclusion, and marginalization within a society. Their bodies become a medium for introducing themselves to others, talking about themselves, and initiating dialogue. In turn, each dancer interprets different social roles based on the codes they possess and those they must acquire to integrate into the group. The movements
and the body then becomes a way of presenting oneself to others, of speaking about oneself, of starting a dialogue.
