Water and sanitation

Water and Sanitation skills have been transferred to the Gard Rhone Agglomeration since January 1, 2020.
This does not change anything in terms of management for users and contracts and services now depend on the Agglomeration.

An operating council has been set up and is responsible for monitoring all contracts and management of the 44 municipalities of the Agglomeration.

The town of Bagnols is represented in this operating council by the deputy mayor, Monique GRAZIANO-BAYLE.

To maintain the drinking water networks, the city has entrusted a DSP (Public Service Delegation) to VEOLIA.

VEOLIA, through this contract, maintains the networks, manages the drinking water boreholes (Croix de Fer and Hamelines), the reservoirs (Bosquet, Aubian, Mont-Cotton, etc.) and collects consumption taxes.

This DSP contract provides for so-called concessional works.

The VEOLIA agency in Bagnols-sur-Cèze is located at 205 avenue de l'Hermitage

The city has entrusted the maintenance of the sanitation network to SAUR.

For rainwater networks, the agglomeration has entrusted a mission to Société Maurin for cleaning the grids, cleaning the networks, cleaning the screens (grid on the mayres and ditches at the entrance to the covered networks).

Every week, the delegates meet to take stock of the work in progress and the problems encountered such as drinking water leaks, obstructions, etc.
