Living in Bagnols
ESCANAUX URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT: PUBLIC CONSULTATION OPEN
By resolution dated December 19, 2025, the Municipal Council prescribed consultation within the framework of the urban renewal project of the Escanaux district by defining the objectives pursued and the methods of consultation.
This resolution also specifies the objectives of the urban renewal program:
- The demolition of outdated social housing and the reconstruction of new housing offering superior comfort and "low consumption" energy performance
- Rehabilitation of existing housing with bringing it up to standard and energy-efficient renovation
- The redevelopment of public spaces with redesigned roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, new green spaces, public facilities and modernized services
- Strengthening social cohesion and diversity through more varied housing, an improved living environment, easier access to services, and residents involved in the transformation of the neighborhood
- The overall urban development of the municipality: the Escanaux project is part of a broader urban renewal and sustainable development strategy for Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
In order to ensure public information and participation regarding the Urban Renewal Project, it will be open, From Monday, January 19, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. to Friday, April 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., a consultation involving residents, local associations and other stakeholders according to the following procedures, in accordance with Article L.103-2 of the Town Planning Code:
- Publication of a notice of opening of the consultation phase: It will be published on the City's website (www.bagnolssurceze.fr), in the municipal newsletter Bagnols & Vous as well as on the Commune's social networks (Facebook)
- Posting at the Town Hall: The resolution approving the consultation procedures will be posted for one month. Notice of this posting will be published in a newspaper distributed in the department (Midi Libre). The resolution will also be available for download on the Town's website.
- A consultation file will be made available to the public: including the master plan and the urban renewal project, as well as a register for receiving observations and proposals from any interested party.

* at the Town Hall, Directorate of Major Urban Projects, Place Auguste Mallet in Bagnols-sur-Cèze:
- Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 17 p.m.
- Tuesdays from 13:30 pm to 17 pm
- Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 17 p.m.
- Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 16 p.m.
* at the Project House, rue Garidel-Allègre in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, during a dedicated drop-in session:
- Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 12 p.m.
