The population alert system

The municipality has an automatic call server which helps the households concerned to organize themselves thanks to an alert and rapid dissemination of information.

People living in areas at risk of flooding on the Cèze must register with the town hall. They can provide several telephone numbers (home, mobile, and work, for example). These are recorded in a database. In the event of an alert, when the PCS is triggered, an alert message is recorded by the mayor and distributed to families who have previously registered at the town hall. Each person called confirms receipt of the message by pressing the requested key. If this is not the case, the software begins dialing the other numbers until there is confirmation of listening. Fifteen minutes after the operation is triggered, the town hall reviews the call report and takes the necessary measures to inform families who have not confirmed receipt of the message.

If you live in a risk area of Bagnols and have not yet registered, you can register upon simple request. Conversely, if you leave a home and you were registered, do not hesitate to let us know. Your numbers will then be removed from the database, which will prevent you from receiving calls in the event of flooding. In all cases you are invited to communicate this information to your neighbors.
