Vigicrue
Intended to inform the public and crisis management stakeholders about the risk of flooding, the Vigicrues website offers a vigilance map updated twice a day and information bulletins permanently available. Based on the same principles as the meteorological vigilance produced by Météo France, flood vigilance is established by the Central Hydro-meteorology and Flood Forecasting Support Service (SCHAPI) and the 19 Flood Forecast Services (SPC ) attached to the DREAL.
The flood vigilance card
The flood vigilance map allows you to visualize all of the watercourses integrated into the flood vigilance system in the form of sections whose color (green, yellow, orange or red) reveals the level of vigilance necessary to deal with the floods. Flood hazards likely to occur in the next 24 hours.
It is available in the form:
- by National map accompanied by a newscast
- local maps (accessible with one click from the national map) accompanied by local information bulletins.
Newsletters
Newsletters specify the chronology and evolution of floods, qualify the intensity and provide (when possible) numerical forecasts for the reference stations.
They also containno indication of possible consequences, as well as behavioral advice defined by public authorities.
