Mediation and prevention service

This service aims to deal with the prevention missions contained within the framework of the system: Local Security and Crime Prevention Contract, but also to be part of a global approach and vision of public tranquility, prevention and mediation.

Thus a team of social mediators is created. It will be made up of a mediator operationally responsible for the team and two mediators.

This team will have the mission:

An active local presence: active listening and dialogue with all users, reaching out to young people, particularly “difficult” ones, their families if they are minors, and more generally people who are isolated or have broken ties
Managing conflicts and situations of tension between people or between groups, either “on the fly” or “delayed” at the request of a partner
Raising awareness of civics, reminder of the rules,
Informing the public about the city's service offerings and news
Orientation, support and connection between the public and the territory's partners (this mission must not replace the missions already carried out by a partner
Territorial monitoring: diagnosis of situations, rapid reporting of malfunctions, sharing of information with partners
The resolution of neighborhood conflicts using appropriate and existing methodologies
