The town of Bagnols-sur-Cèze hosts a funfair every year in the various squares as part of national and local festivals:

• Place Pierre-Boulot,
• Chemin Saint-Victor,
• Boulevard Lacombe,
• Place du Posterlon,
• Place Jean-Jaurès (Parking in front of the BNP and the parking spaces behind the Pizza kiosk),
• Place du Cours Ladroit,

Which brings together around a hundred fairground industrialists.

The purpose of this notice is to define in complete transparency the terms of occupation of the public domain relating to the locations dedicated to the funfair as well as the selection criteria for the fairgrounds participating therein. As such, the City issues authorizations for occupation of the public domain on a precarious and revocable basis adapted for these activities after having previously ensured publicity and competition between candidates.

1/ CONDITIONS OF OCCUPANCY OF PUBLIC DOMAIN

The funfair has 100 locations that the City wishes to distribute across the different places mentioned in the “General information” paragraph.

2/ CONTENT OF APPLICATIONS AND OFFERS:

The funfair remains reserved for fairground professionals who can demonstrate regulatory documents allowing them to carry out their activity.

Each candidate must attach the following documents to the application form:

• photocopy of the non-sedentary trader’s identity card,
• a certificate of comprehensive civil liability insurance (including fire) covering, in respect of the profession and occupation of the location, his professional liability for bodily injury and material damage caused to anyone by himself, his deputies or his facilities for caravans and the profession,
• the conclusions of the technical inspection report or the verification report and, where applicable, the valid counter-inspection report including the favorable conclusions,
• a declaration specifying that the showman has carried out the necessary corrective actions and that his equipment is maintained in good condition, accompanied by supporting documents,
  if the equipment has been the subject of a new inspection after the installation request, the report(s) mentioned in the previous paragraph,
• a certificate of conformity with the safety rules concerning the installation of the electrical equipment of the trade issued by an approved organization. This certificate will be triennial for type one and two rides and annual for type three and four rides.
• for trades operating with gas compressors, an inspection report issued by an approved body dated less than three years ago. For crafts built abroad also a certificate of conformity for operation in France issued by an approved body.
• the number of vehicles to be parked (trucks, trailers, caravans, utility vehicles, etc.) specifying their registration number and their registration document.
• precise information on the profession: type, nature and company name, dimensions (facade, depth, height on the facade, diameter), reception capacity and prices (single ticket). All candidates must complete and sign the file by attaching all the required supporting documents. These documents are necessary for the issuance of the placement letter which constitutes final acceptance. Any incomplete file will be considered inadmissible.

3/ SUBMITTING APPLICATION FILES

All candidates must complete and sign the file by attaching all the required supporting documents.

Any incomplete file cannot be processed provided that the candidate completes his file before the deadline for receipt of applications.

Criteria for selecting a profession:

• The seniority of the operator on the party,
• Originality,
• Visual quality,
• The dimensions.

4/ FEES AND PERCEPTION OF PLACE FEES

The operator will have to pay a fee set by decision of the mayor.

Professionals undertake, after their installation, to sign a certificate in duplicate specifying: Their identity, address, profession and the length of occupation of the public domain.

One copy will be given to the professional, the other to the Finance department for issue of a receipt for payment of space fees for occupation of the public domain.
